Giving consumers the Advantage in Medicare.

An AI advocate that helps 67 million Americans understand, navigate, optimize, and enroll in Medicare.

02Problem and solution

Medicare is a maze, and people walk it alone.

The problem

More than 11,000 Americans turn 65 every day, and there's no digital home for their coverage. They bounce between plan finders, brokers, carriers and call centers, and nobody owns the relationship.

The solution

Meet Dorthy, the AI advocate that walks with you through the maze: answering your questions, finding and enrolling in the right plan, and optimizing your benefits for years after.

Simplifies complexity

Breaks down Medicare intricacies, giving consumers understanding with confidence.

Personal recommendations

Uses each person's own data to suggest the plans that fit them best.

Full lifecycle support

Starting the moment you're curious about Medicare, with support for everything that follows, year after year.

03Business model

Carriers fund the build. Consumers drive the growth.

One Dorthy engine. Carriers license it under their own brand from 2027. That funds and proves it before the Dorthy app launches to consumers in mid-2028.

The Dorthy engine

This round · 2027

Carriers

White-label Dorthy in the carrier's brand.

How it earns
$6 per member per year, flat. $40K minimum, half-price six-month pilot.
Per enrollment
The carrier saves about $725 in broker commission on each member who enrolls directly.

Next · mid-2028

Consumers

The Dorthy app, via our licensed agency.

How it earns
Carriers pay our agency a commission.
Per enrollment
$725, then $363 every year the member stays (CMS 2027 maximums).

Later

Agents

Agencies license Dorthy for their agents.

How it earns
A share of the commissions Dorthy helps agents earn.
Per enrollment
In R&D. Not in the revenue plan yet.

Carrier fees are flat, never per enrollment, so contracts stay clean under CMS rules.

04Why carriers first

Same mission. Less money at risk on the way.

Going straight to consumers launches about a year sooner, but carriers first collects $7.5M against $5.7M by the end of 2029 and spends $1.9M less. We would rather reach consumers with proof than spend our way there.

05Market and traction

Carriers are the way in to a $24B market that renews every year.

Carriers are the smaller market, and they pay from 2027 on. Consumers are the goal: every enrollment pays a commission, then a renewal every year. Chapter, a consumer Medicare guide, raised $100M at a $3B valuation in April 2026.

Consumers

A commission per enrollment, then a renewal every year.

2029 plan
  • $24B+ / yrrenewals: 67M Medicare members x $363
  • $3.0B / yrnew enrollments: 4.1M turning 65 x $725
  • $2.6Mour consumer revenue in 2029, starting in Maricopa County

Circle areas are drawn to scale within each panel; the consumer market is about 350 times the carrier market. Renewals are an upper bound: not every member's plan pays a commission. • Working POC live, answering real Medicare questions today. A compliance demo for carriers is in build.
  • Licensed to sell: a co-founder holds an active Arizona insurance license and agency number in Maricopa County, home to about 727,000 Medicare eligibles.
  • $250K pre-seed, fully subscribed, and turned into a working product, a build plan and a legal foundation.
  • Monthly operating model built step by step through 2029.
